
I've been watching The Biggest Loser and right before the finale they are going to run a 5K. So, I decided to run a 5K. Am I in shape for it? Not yet but I will be by Christmas. I'm going to use a program called C25K to help me get in shape and ready to run.
Crazy as it sounds I've always thought it would be fun to run. I also like the idea of having a bike to ride, like I did when I was a kid but that's another blog.
I think I will use the comment area on this blog post to keep every one posted on how I am doing so look for a weekly update. I'm thinking I'll post on Sunday afternoons how I'm doing.

I did this last month. Couch to 5K is a great program! If you have a smart phone, you can download one of the C25K apps (I used "Get Running"). It tells you exactly when to walk and when to run. Good luck!
